The knee is a complex joint made up of four components; bone, cartilage, ligaments and tendons. It is made up of three bones, Tibia, patella and femur. The joint moves like a door hinge making flexion (bending) and extension (straightening) the only movements within the joint yet it allows you to sit, squat, jump and run.
What conditions do we treat?
At the clinic our sports therapist treat a wide range of common knee conditions and these include:
